Rule Clarification! - New Contest!!

Submission Rules & Joining-Mentor Program-Affiliates & Members-Affilates Contests & Features!




:new: HELLO! Please review the rules below and please don't submit until you do so! I keep getting tons of contest submissions that are not NEW photographs (some not even close to being new!)! I figure I should clarify more - The contest started on June 14th, so the photo must have been taken on June 14th or later!

Hello deviants!!

I think it's about time for a new contest...eh? Well, that last few theme polls have had one theme that always pulls a close second or third....and that is MACRO!!!!

PLEASE, read all the rules below before doing any submitting!!

MACRO CONTEST RULES!

:bulletgreen: All entries must fit the MACRO theme! Here are some examples and an explanation! We reserve the right to reject your submission if it does not fit, you will have ONE chance to resubmit a different photo!

:bulletgreen: You must be a member!!!

:bulletgreen: Contest opens NOW and ends on July 5th, Midnight CST!!!

:bulletgreen: This must be a NEW photograph!. Details: the photograph must have been taken on June 14th (when the contest started) or later!

:bulletgreen: One entry per member!

:bulletgreen: When submitting send a note with Subject Line "Contest - Macro" and include a THUMBNAIL of your work!



Per usual, our prizes are always donated, so donate something please!!

Hi, I want to clarify (just based on your contest update about loads of 'old' photos being submitted for the contest) we *are* still allowed to submit photos *not* connected to the competition, right? Because mine was an ordinary submission. Are these other 'old' photos you're receiving maybe just ordinary submissions too?

Yep, you can still submit like you usually do. And no, they were specific contest notes that were old :) But thanks for asking, I'm sure others were slightly confused as well! Sorry!!

Hi :wave: I'm going around to all my clubs and asking if you would like to donate a prize to my latest contest "Black and White: Alice in Wonderland contest" located here [link] As well, i know some clubs have small features/journals where they feature their affiliates' contests so if you wouldn't mind adding that to your list if you have one :hug: :heart: thank you. get back to me soon ;) Heck if you want, participate! haha :D It's open to all mediums, including literature!
